With so much to offer, it’s the go-to for anyone wanting to restock their wardrobe with the latest threads.
Another popular choice, George Street also ranks as one of the best places to shop in Edinburgh. A short walk from Princes Street, George Street has lots of good places for lunch as well as shops like Fat Face, Lululemon and Rox.
A trip to Edinburgh would be incomplete without a few take home souvenirs. Luckily, the Royal Mile is packed with lots of shops selling everything from tartans to whisky and everything in-between. Pick up a stuffed Highland Cow, Nessie or an ‘I Love Scotland’ t-shirt for your friends and family back home.

If you’re looking for a more traditional shopping mall, head to Ocean Terminal. With three storeys of shops, you’ll find plenty to keep you occupied.
Grab lunch in the food court, browse stores like H&M and Debenhams or turn it into a sightseeing adventure by stopping off at the Royal Yacht Britannia. Afterward, end your day with a movie at the Vue.
