It is perfectly located for many Festival and Fringe venues, theatres and concert halls and the cafes, bars and restaurants in the Forrest Road area.

This charming one bedroom apartment is quietly located on the on the 1st floor on Forrest Hill cul-de-sac.
The apartment is attractively furnished and offers a relaxed, comfortable retreat right at the heart of all the action.

This apartment has a double bedroom and there is also a double sofa-bed in the lounge meaning this apartment is perfect for up to 4, a family or couple looking to stay in one of the best central locations in the city.

The bathroom is modern, clean and simple. Freshly renovated. Bath and Electric shower. All you need!
Kitchen
Although the location means that some of the best bars and restaurants are on your door step.. the kitchen has everything you will need to prepare meals. This has been fully refurbished in September 2016

Heading south along George IV bridge to Forrest road the is an entrance approximately half way along on the right. (just at the famous Sandy Bells music bar). 2 Forrest Hill is the blue door 50 yards up on the right.

Review your stayWe had two adults and two teenage kids in this apartment. The foldout bed worked great for the kids, and they had no complaints. We loved having in suite laundry to get fresh clothes for the next leg of our trip. We also utilized the nearby corner store to make our own breakfast in the kitchen. The best of all was this location. You’re close to everything in Old Town, and walking from here is a breeze. For longer outings, it was easy to catch an Uber or taxi. We absolutely loved this location. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Simple, clean flat. Easy check in. Flat was secure and as 3 girls felt very safe. The area is fantastic with everything from upmarket restaurants to cheap and cheerful takeaways and bars, vintage shops, museums and the meadows on your doorstep. The location is tucked away in a safe side street and so you have the best of both worlds. Jon communicated clearly and the airbnb rules were fair.

Nice apartment and very well situated within easy walking distance to Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, Waverly Rail Station and minutes from the National Museum of Scotland and Surgeons' Hall Museum. Kids and I will certainly be happy to book this apartment again when next we visit Edinburgh.

This is a lovely little place. It is perfectly clean and well decorated with everything you could need for a short (or long) stay in Edinburgh. It was very simple to find and to check in. It’s a lovely part of old town, just a short walk to the Royal Mile. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Jon's was wonderful, spacious, very good explanations on how everything works but best of all great location. Maybe a two minute walk to the royal mile and museum and a plethora of restaurants, coffee and gelato/ice cream shops.

L'appartement de Jon est parfait pour un week-end à Edimbourg! Il est très bien situé et localisé dans une impasse ce qui apporte de la tranquillité tout en étant dans la ville. Le self check-in est très pratique pour le départ et l'arrivée suivant les horaires de chacun. Très cosy et fonctionnel je recommande sans hésiter !

Jon’s apartment was the perfect location for our Edinburgh adventures. Walking distance to absolutely everything and right near a very central bus line. The food near the apartment was incredible and we loved going to Sandy Bells, which could not have been closer. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable and the house was very quiet despite its central location. Could not recommend this location more!

The location of this apartment is great with so much to do within walking distance plus many bus locations nearby. The apartment itself is very comfortable. I appreciated the washer/dryer as this was our last stop after 2 weeks of traveling and it was great to be able to do a load of laundry. There is a manual that explains everything you need to know about the place. Would not hesitate to stay there again if I were ever lucky enough to return to Edinburgh.

Excellent location just minutes away from everything. The apartment is cosy and was just perfect for 3 people. I liked a separate entrance and it make it even more cozy. Will definitely stay there again

A perfekt Apartment for your stay in the city center of Edinburgh. Very close to All attractions, clean and fully equipped ( even pepper, salt, oil etc.)👍and nicely furnished. We have fallen in love with this place in the first minutes of our great holiday. Will be back soon.
