It’s also within easy walking distance of Edinburgh’s enchanting Royal Botanical Gardens, making it an attractive area for families. From Cannon Street, you can also take the #23 or #27 buses to Edinburgh Old Town, where you’ll find Edinburgh’s main tourist attractions like Edinburgh Castle, National Museum, Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace.

Key Collection for Your Self-Catering Accommodation in Edinburgh Scotland
A personal greeter will be on-hand to welcome you to your holiday home if required. We’ll explain the basics of the apartment as well as recommendations and keys. Check-in is between 15.00 and 22.00 hours. Late arrivals (between 22:00-24:00), early check-ins (between 12.00-15.00) and late checkouts (between 10.00-12.00) will accrue a £40 charge.

Well connected to bus routes into town or about 30 minute walk to Royal mile. The walk is up hill so may not suit some, but is a pleasant walk with several alternative routes to add variety!

I must first make mention of Karen [Blair] of Blair apartments [Edinburgh-Flats.com. Her rapid and helpful responses enabled me to book, in the short time available to me in the circumstances prevailing at the time, this spacious and well resourced accommodation, with its many local amenities as well as its close proximity to the Royal Botanical Garden, Edinburgh [Scotland]. Like many others, we were reliant upon local transport which served us admirably from the one bedroomed flat to make journeying across the city straightforward, including a visit to friends in South Queensferry. Thank you Karen.
Additionally we should like to thank all considerations afforded us by the guest manager, Gill. Any future visit to Edinburgh would see us request the same flat, without hesitation.

My second stay in this very convenient small flat (realistically ideal for 1 person but would do for 2) - it's well equipped and well looked after - excellent bus links - good swimming pool 5 minutes away, lovely early morning walks along Water of Leith and you never need to worry about shopping - there's a large Tesco's open late, on the door-step.

This is basically a really good flat - mostly very well-equipped and well presented, in a superb location for visiting Edinburgh - quiet, good local area with excellent buses into centre - the kitchen has just one or two irritating features which stop me rating the flat excellent. I was on my own and so just about coped with the tiny table - and it is the only surface anywhere in the flat for eating and working. Cooking was tricky as the kitchen knives are all completely blunt to the point of being dangerous. You really should be able to chop an onion! One lovely feature for me was decent radios - rare in a holiday flat.

This was a return visit. It's a great location, 10-15 minutes from Princes Street and away from many of the tourists, but near many useful facilities - pubs, restaurants, M&S Food and Tesco. Quiet, convenient and tidy. We'll be back!

This flat has everything a couple could want. It is very clean, well equipped, has parking nearby etc. It is located north of the city centre which is an uphill walk to Princes Street which means that it is downhill on the way back when you are tired! We used it for the Hogmanay celebrations and it proved ideal. The accommodation provides all you need with a well equipped kitchen and a really good shower room. The other three rooms are a wc, living room and a 2 x singles bedroom. All in all very good. We are keen to return sometime in the future.

Quiet at night, and close to good restaurants, as well as shops for groceries and nearby stops for buses very regular buses into town.

We loved our stay in this apartment as it is very spacious and quiet with the bedroom windows facing a garden. The location is good very close to botanical garden with shops and cafes nearby. The only problem was we had no internet for the entire time of our stay. We had to call the internet company and invite a technician ourselves but he couldn't fix anything and there was still no WiFi when we left... Except for that everything was great:)

We were delighted with the flat, it was tastefully decorated, very comfortable and immaculately clean! The area was good with shops and places to eat within a few minutes walk, it was convenient for the city but it was also very quiet. I couldn't recommend it highly enough! I look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Edinburgh. Both Gill and John were very welcoming and helpful.

Stayed for 7 nights in a very comfortable modern apartment, which had everything to make your stay home from home. Its location was perfect, the area has a number of very nice coffee shops, resturants, shops, excellent transport links and of course the beautiful botantic gardens. My only disappointment was I had to leave! I can not highly recommended this apartment enough, will certainly be back. A big thank you to Gill and her husband for being available if I needed anything.

A pleasant flat within a stone's throw of Princes Street but with none of the negatives linked to noise & traffic. All amenities were provided although the lack of a washing machine was a major drawback. Nonetheless I'd recommend this flat to anyone looking for a central location.

The flat is very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished.Within easy reach of Edinburgh either by bus or on foot.Good eateries nearby and close to Stockbridge.Also a lovely walk along Water of Leith where we visited The Royal Yacht.Would definately like to come back on our next visit to Edinburgh.(Kitchen table was a bit of a challenge eating breakfast AND reading the paper!)

We had a lovely long weekend in Edinburgh and were able to easily walk to anything central in the New Town or Royal Mile. It was fantastic to have a well stocked flat that we could come back to between adventures for down time and casual meals. Beds were comfortable, shower excellent, cleanliness good and everything you could need on a weekend away was there. Easy walk to excellent delis, cafes and restaurants. Definitely a top value option for accommodation in my all time favourite city!

We loved the flat and cannot fault it in any way. It's spacious, cosy, furnished tastefully and with great attention to detail; truly self contained. The location is very convenient for exploring the city. We had a great time staying there, were sad to leave and will definitely book again. Thoroughly recommend it to parties of 2-4 (there's a sofa bed in the living room).

Very much in line with other reviews. The outseide is a bit basic, but inside all you could want, would certainly use this again for the festival. Very comfortable and well placed for the city centre. I have to say that the flat was very clean when we arrived and the agents were very helpful.

Lovely friendly welcome. Nice clean apartment with a very well equipped kitchen and fantastic shower. Twenty minute walk to the centre, but plenty of buses so a very convenient location. Only slight quibbles were: could have done with a bigger table, another chair in bedroom and duvets fell off, but overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

We had an excellent week's stay in this flat. It has been carefully planned and stylishly furnished throughout to a high standard providing the visitor with comfort and convenience. It is situated in a quiet street but has the advantage of shops, coffee bars and restaurants within five minutes walk. The Edinburgh Botanic Gardens are a ten minute easy walk away and only 20/25 minutes walking to Princes Street.
Buses stop around the corner from the flat and take you quickly into the city centre or out to Leith and the Ocean Terminal for a visit to HMY 'Britannia'.
We will be recommending the flat to our friends and very much hope to return.

The flat is very nice, well taken care of, cousy, the wifi had wonderful signal, there was a microwave, fridge, hairdryer, tv, alarm clock, towels, everything you need!
That was the first time I rented a flat, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience, for a very good price! I saved good money and felt at home!Hotels are too impersonal. Thanks for the wonderful time!

The flat was excellent. Everything was finished to a high standard and was well thought out. When I had a minor problem with the wireless both the property manager and owner were extremely responsive. I can't recommend this apartment highly enough for a single person or couple looking for a base from which they can explore Edinburgh and the surrounding area.

The communal entrance/corridor of this apartment building is dingy which is a shame and in no way reflects the flat itself, which is lovely. Beautifully decorated, with spacious living area, high ceilings, wifi and very comfortable beds everything in the apartment is done to an incredibly high standard. While not centrally located, the neighbourhood surrounding boasts a huge supermarket, lovely cafes and pubs. It is only about a 20 minute walk to Princes Street and peaceful and quiet with little noise from the street or neighbours. This was the perfect flat to stay in during the Festival and I am going to book it again for next year! Highly recommended.
