Stayed here for 2 weeks of Fringe with ny 17 year old daughter. Place was as described with a spacious living room with windows overlooking royal mile. Pulled up a chair and people watched for hours. Location is walkable to all of the city’s main attractions, shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

Great stay in a very centrally located apartment! Everything was as expected and the host was very helpful. Both the apartment and our days in Edinburgh were impeccable!! We will be more than happy to come back😃

The location makes this flat a good choice. It is close to many great restaurants and other tourist sites. Edinburgh is a great city to walk around and you can easily get to Princess Street and all sites on Royal mile from this flat. The check in process was very clear. The property manager was very easy to contact and responded to questions promptly.
It was great to have a washing machine. All in all, I would definitely recommend.

O apartamento é ótimo e o Jon um excelente anfitrião. Nos deixou fazer o checkin mais cedo, o que ajudou bastante. Aliás o Airbnb deveria botar um limite no horário de checkin, deveria seguir o padrão de hotéis, as 14h. O único porém do apartamento é o preço, já que Edimburgo é muito caro. Obrigado Jon, adoramos a estadia.

Lovely stay in Jon’s apartment. It’s much bigger than pictured and plenty space for 5 of us. Location is great- I know a few other reviews have mentioned the noise from the front bedroom but I think that’s to be expected when staying right on the Royal Mile.
Jon was really responsive and was happy for us to leave our bags at the apartment after checkout so we could continue to explore before we had to leave. Thanks so much again Jon :) we will recommend.

Nous avons pu tout faire à pieds 👍 Le logement est facile d’accès, bien équipé et Jon nous a permis d’arriver un peu plus tôt que prévu en fonction de notre horaire de vol. Jon was very hospitable and the place listed was quite accurately described.
The main door was a little difficult to open but its the building's fault not Jon's. Everything was comfortable and the place was warm during our entire stay!
We were allowed flexible check-in and luggage drops and checkouts as well, so if we're ever in Edinburgh again we will definitely come back here.

Fantastic location for exploring the Royal Mile and surrounding area. Apartment was easy to find and larger than expected. It was very clean, if a little sparse and definitely more of a place to use as a base rather than cooking in - but seeing as pubs and restaurants are on your doorstep then there was really no need to. Jon was very responsive and helpful and managed to provide a highchair for our baby when requested. Very happy with our stay at the apartment and would stay again.

This place was so great. Walked out The front door to the best parts of our vacation. Right on the Royal Mile. The apartment was clean and everything was perfect. The only thing that was hard was the parking. I had a huge suitcase, one that was hard to bring up for two flights of stairs, plus luging it up the hill from the parking garage. (Which was half a mile away), or at least it felt like that🤣. Honestly, I would book this place again in a heartbeat if I ever get to come back❤️. It was awesome!

The apartment was very clean and exactly as pictures showed. I would just recommend bringing earplugs if staying in the front bedroom, the Royal Mile can get a bit busy with foot traffic & vehicles. Other than that it was a nice place to stay, close to everything.

This apartment is all about location. Located right on the Royal Mile, you are literally on the door step of all the local attractions, bars, restaurants etc. perfect location for Edinburgh Fringe. Comfortable for 5 people, with adequate space and 1.5 bathrooms. Jon allowed us to check in a little early to drop off our bags which was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent week at the Festival and really appreciated staying at John Knox apartments. They are very centrally located, and flat 2F1 was clean and comfortable throughout with good quality bedlinen and towels. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of hot water on demand at all times.
We have been going to the Festival for several years now and this is the best place we have stayed in by far. We will be back next year for sure.

We had a great stay for three nights at this very centrally located apartment in Edinburgh. It was a very short walk to several sights including the Edinburgh castle, and the main train station. Our host was very communicative if we had questions as well. I recommend the Edinburgh Larder for breakfast, and the bar "Devil's Advocate" for drinks.

We loved the apartment, which was spacious and close to great pubs along High Street. The apartment was stocked with equipment to do our own cooking, but we ended up eating out most of the time. Waverly Station, the Castle, the National Museum, Calton Hill, and everything else we wanted to see could be accessed within walking distance.

We stayed for 3 months during lockdown for work and it was great.
The owner had just refurbished the apartment so we were lucky to benefit from that.
