Good central flat
The flat was perfectly situated for the Tattoo and the Fringe - we walked everywhere. Wonderful view of the Castle from the back. Very clean. Compact but comfortable for five adults (including the one on the sofa bed - me). Letting company easy and pleasant to deal with. Thank you.

Central flat in New Town
Really well placed for George Street and other venues for the Edinburgh fringe. Lovely and thoughtful touches like leaving milk and biscuits in the kitchen. Flexible about collection of keys which was a great help. Might have helped to know there was a nursery next door as frequently awoken in the week by noisy toddlers in the morning, but very peaceful and quiet at night.

Quiet location
Lovely friendly welcome. Nice clean apartment with a very well equipped kitchen and fantastic shower. Twenty minute walk to the centre, but plenty of buses so a very convenient location. Only slight quibbles were: could have done with a bigger table, another chair in bedroom and duvets fell off, but overall, we had a very pleasant stay.

Good location sand easy access to city
Social areas excellent, the second double room not really a double. You need to sort the ventilation in the bathrooms, this was not working. Everyone had a lovely ho.iday

nice central flat
Initial impressions were that the flat was a little tired and shabby. However it was well equiped, clean and comfortable but if more than 2 adults stay here it will be a squash. The loo takes a very long time to refill between flushes. The location is great as the street is quiet and everywhere is within easy walking distance. We would stay here again for this very reason. It was great to have internet access. The info folder is a bit messy and we missed the timings for putting out the rubbish may be a laminated sheet with key info could be left on the kitchen table. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Edinburgh Flats.

Festival Apartment
The apartment was clean and spacious with useful secure off-street parking for one car. If planning a stay you might like to know that the fourth bedroom is an internal room without windows. Two good clean bathrooms, both with an electric shower. Excellent local amenities and frequent bus services to town. It's a good mile to the Pleasance etc but we knew this and like walking! Owner was very helpful regarding provision of more door keys. We had a very enjoyable week.

Spacious well-equipped flat
This flat was the ideal solution for our one-week stay in Edinburgh. It is situated in a pleasant, quiet district with nice surroundings, easy access to shops, restaurants and buses to town. Walking distance to centre approx. half an hour. The flat is light, airy and very well-equipped with great dining area in the bay window.

Good position flat
Service and accommodation first rate. Staff were more than just helpful as they even offered to store bags after checkout so that we could attend festival shows. Everything worked perfectly. Didn't even need to use my own Ethernet cable for Internet access as a cable was already in place. Thank you all for a wonderful experience.

Central Edinburgh
The flat is very close to the centre of the city, so you can easily walk to the Royal Mile. It is very well equipped (and everything is labeled). Small but cosy. We had a wonderful time there.

Basic accommodation
The photo and description seemed a bit misleading, but the accommodation was good enough. It is student accommodation.

Perfectly adequate for a short stay
Flat is a little further away from town than I would have liked; about half an hour's walk from anywhere useful. Space is perfectly adequate and comfortable, but no luxuries (shower in poor condition, and not much in the way of shelves and surfaces in the bedrooms). Landlord was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing floating hotel
Our stay on the boatel couldn't have been much better - it's so central that we were able to walk nearly everywhere or catch a bus from a couple of hundred yards away. There are so many 'facilities' on board that we only used a small proportion of them - the massage chair was very welcome after a day of wandering around watching Fringe shows and I really should have tried the foot-spa but just ran out of time. The smaller kids loved the bunkbeds - my 12yr old just fitted in the larger one - and my teenage son really enjoyed the DVD library and watched loads of them on the flat screen tv in his cabin. We could have spent the whole week on-board and not bothered with the Fringe shows and still have had a great holiday.

Good Placed flat
The flat is well placed for getting into Town or out to explore further afield.short walk for good Pubs & eating restaurants.Clean & well kept,my only critisism is there was no toilet paper provided. We have stayed in many self catering apartments & this has always been there.

Disappointed
The location was very good and the owner was helpful allowing us to drop off our luggage before the start of the rental. Most of the apartment was clean but some areas were not, the bottom of the wardrobes and bedside draws were dirty. Some things are in need of repair, the WC and cistern actually move, shower taps move in the wall, fridge bottle holder is broken. The apartment does look a little shabby and is in need of some maintenance work and re-decoration. The website pictures make the apartment look nicer than what it really is. Disappointed sums up our review. We appreciate our stay was during the high season and in general rent charges are high but we feel this property was not worth what we paid due to it's present condition. We do not understand why the issues mentioned have not already been addressed.

Response from landlord:
As the owner of the property I have taken on board Kim’s comments and those of a few other recent reviews. As a result of this during the last week of August the flat has been redecorated to completely freshen it up. In addition, a brand new sofa and sofa bed have been put into the flat and new photos on the website now show these improvements. In addition the maintenance problems referred to have all been addressed and generally the flat has had a significant facelift over the last week.

Furnished like a home, and very comfortable even if the entrance is a bit daunting. A very quiet location with an excellent bus service into town. It wasn't far to walk, but the bus was very handy. The address is not 'off Leith Walk' It is off Orchard
Not sure I understand this!

Great
