Wonderful Studio Room 5

We had a fantastic stay in this studio flat during the Edinburgh Fringe. Every event was convenient to the flat, taking at most a 15-20 minutes walk. The kitchen was small and compact with a fantastic speedy hob which enabled us to to cook meals between shows. This was so useful, time and money saving. The flat was clean, had free WiFi and a view. The care-taking arrangements were excellent too! We had a very comfortable week there.

Stay here, perfect cottage. 5

Although this is a flat not 'dead' in the centre it is well worth it! The owners live next door and are friendly, helpful but not overbearing. Nothing was left to chance and we even had a welcome pack including a lovely bottle of wine. The cottage is superbly decorated and was excellent for exploring the city. I cannot recommend this cottage enough we had a brilliant stay and will stay again! Thanks to Bill and Margaret for a fantastic stay in Edinburgh.

Excellent central flat. 5

We were extremely satisfied with the flat. It was clean and very welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary facilities. The lounge was very roomy and the bed was also very comfortable. The bathroom also gets ten marks for an excellent shower, clean and the additional toilet is certainly a bonus. Definitely a flat I would recmmmend to friends. I would also like to mention that Jenny was also very helpful and welcoming. It makes a difference. With many thanks for a lovely week in Edinburgh, Mervyn and Yona Warner

Good flat, nice location 4

It is situated in Leith, a nice area of Edinburgh with the docks. Good amenities, comfortable, good wi-fi access, very nice owner. Lots to do around there and an easy walk into central Edinburgh.

Spacious flat 4

We had a great stay at this flat. 2 families - 4 adults, 4 young children and 1 baby. Plenty of room, nice and clean, well equipped. Great location for walking up to the city (15 mins and very little whinging). Ann, the owner, was really good at keeping in contact and answering any questions we had.

Student halls 2

What it doesn't tell you in the description for this flat is that they are actually student halls. Also, there is no wifi in the flats themselves, you have to pay to sign up to their student internet access via Ethernet cable. There was a strange smell throughout, which we were told was carpet cleaner, but it never dispersed. Probably because the windows cannot be opened fully, they have child-locks on them, to prevent escape one can only assume. As a result of this it was also extremely stuffy in the flat. I cannot fault the location, just off Grassmarket. The bedrooms were also very clean and towels and linen were provided and changed weekly. The lounge area was pretty dismal, but if you only want somewhere to lay your head, this probably won't bother you.

Central. Spotless flat 5

My mum, aunt, two little girls and I stayed at this flat over the let weekend of the fringe. Convieniently located just outside the city, the flat was accessible by a regular bus and taxi... It was easily walkable, if you had no children complaining about tired legs! We all found the flat to be spacious, spotless and the decor to be to a high standard throughout. A word of advise, do not be put off by the shabby communal hallway when you first enter the building, It does not reflect the flat at all. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfection. 5

A truly amazing flat I can only hope it is avaliable for the next time I wish to visit Edinburgh 15/10. 15 mins walk to the centre of town far enough to be quiet, close enough to enjoy the whole of Edinburgh. A beautiful flat with everything you could possibly want for.

Fantastic 5

Flat is in a good location (about 15 min walk to central Edinburgh), fantastic facilities, nice and clean. Had absolutely no complaints about the apartment itself. Highly recommended - we are hoping if we ever visit Edinburgh again to stay here!

georgeous flat right in the city center 5

We had a great time in this very nice flat during the fringe festival in Edinburgh. It's situated in the heart of the city and all major places are easily accessible. I would recommend this apartment to each person who asks me :)

Had a great week at The Fringe. The flat was spotless, roomy and well equipped (wi-fi, towels, ironing board, washing machine etc). It was also well located to be within walking distance of all the major Fringe sites. We never once had to take a bus or taxi.

Excellent location, but... 2

The showers flooded and there was a persistent smell of urine (despite the generous use of bleach. The bathroom required the use of a keycard for the light to come on, so that was a fumble in the middle of the night. For the price, it was poor that there was no TV, washing machine or dishwasher and the kitchen equipment was absolutely minimal and of very poor quality. For instance, the iron was totally ineffective and the ironing board was hopeless. Also, the promise of wi-fi did not materialise as their system is unsuitable for short-term lets.

Very good central location. 5

Due to the tram roadworks the house wasn't easy to find. However it is in a quiet part of the financial district and once there it has the luxury of a garage and therefore parking is not a problem. The house has been recently refurbished and boasts a fully equipt contemporary kitchen. The rest of the house is spacious, decorated to a high standard and very comforatble. It is a few minutes walk from the top of Princes Street and just around the corner from the Traverse Theatre. It's an excellent location and all Festival venues are a short walk away, as are other famous attractions. Hospitality from the Angie the 'greeter' on arrival was first rate. She couldn't have been more helpful and always contactable. We had a fabulous stay. The only negatives were the alarming noise of the Seagulls at night, the lack of WiFi and the TV can only receive BBC channels. These are however very minor points.
