very good central flat
I've now stayed in this property on two occasions. Really convenient/central location. Very clean with plenty useful amenities in the flat. Rooms aren't massive but ideal for a short break with a family (as we were) or group of friends.

Great location, lovely spacious accomodation
Beautiful house in a great location. Great size, plenty of room for the 10 of us and a bonus that each bedroom had its own ensuite. Definitely like to return one day. Would recommend to anyone!

Great location, great apartment, great service
From the booking process, through the pre-stay information, the handover and of course the stay itself, everything went perfectly. The apartment is in a great location, very close to the interesting bits of town but at the same time in a relatively quiet area. There is a small Tesco within a couple of minutes walk which is open until 11pm. The apartment is small but fine for 3 people (or 4 I guess but there were only 3 of us!). The combined kitchen and living area makes for a very sociable setting although perhaps the sofa could be slightly more comfortable and/or fixed so the seats don't keep sliding off. The WiFi access worked well and was appreciated, if only so we could blog our activities during our stay. I very much like the decision by the owners to leave unused basic foodstuffs from the previous let in the cupboards. It's so nice not to have to buy sugar etc knowing you'll be throwing 90% of it away when you leave. Dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid and a J cloth were all provided, again it was nice not to have to go and get the basics. The bathroom has a nice shower (powerful and hot) over the bath as well as a very welcome heated towel rail. For some reason, although there is plenty of water pressure at the sink and shower the toilet takes ages to refill, maybe that could be improved? We only met the owner once, at handover. He was very welcoming and helpful, taking time to explain what was where etc and even going to get more dishwasher tabs when he noticed there were none. Overall this was a very successful stay, many thanks.

Clean and stylish flat
Great flat, very modern decor. No problems with cleanliness and good facilities. We didn't get a chance to ckeck out the gym but was certainly an appea;ing feature. Good location so long as you don't mind a bit of a walk.

Great location and size
We all loved it! Great that all bedrooms were ensuite as no-one had to queue for the bathroom ! Tap drips in the twin bedroom, not a problem but wanted you to know. Also, another sofa would be good in the lounge area.

Flat in edinburgh
My family (two adults, two children) enjoyed our stay in this flat. The furniture and indeed the building has a victorian style complete with rocking chair. The kitchen although compact is equipped with all your requirements and everything worked flawlessly. The spare Toshiba laptop, although slow, was a bonus as it left me free to catch up with my mail on my laptop without being pestered by my children. The location is reasonably close to the centre and has free parking. All in all a very good, comfortable flat and a bargain at the price. A tumble dryer would have helped though as our clothes took a long time to dry despite being August.

Great Location
We certainly recommend this flat which over looks the harbour. Modern, clean and spacious enough for three adults. An ideal location for Edinburgh and parking which is a bonus.

A nice play to stay
The apartment is conveniently located, not far from the centre of Edinburgh and remote enough from any busy street to benefit from a quiet environment. It is comfortable, clean and well equipped to guarantee a pleasant stay while being a nice place for undertaking to visit the capital of Scotland. We have appreciated the possibility to walk from the flat to the city centre by using the warriston walkway leaving our car parked in the street alongside the building. Certainly a place to be recommended.

Excellent flat
Sincere thanks to John, the friendly and helpful flat owner. The flat kitchen is fully equipped. Nice bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen. Convenient to commute to and from the city centre which is located not very far from the flat. Bus 1, 3, 25, 33 runs quite often (every 3-10mins). Buses from city centre stop exactly in front of the flat. Many shops are around (Sainsbury is within 2-3 mins walk, Co-op is across the street, local butcher, charity shops...)

Excellently located well-equipped apartment
When seeking an apartment you can feel at home in with a well-equipped kitchen and a good-quality bed (which is as far as we are concerned no luxury as my husband is a back pain sufferer), and a good location both for exploring the city (and beyond) and to do some shopping (which is essential when staying in a self-catering flat) ... Seek no more, you have just found it! And its owners will do their utmost to make your stay a comfortable one ... That is what we found out as well !

Spacious West End apartment
What a wonderful stay we had in this spacious apartment when visiting the Edinburgh Fringe 2012. It had the wow factor from the moment we stepped up to the door. Part of a stunning historic terrace. A simple bus or cab ride into town. Beautifully furnished, quiet, comfortable and with added benefits for a homely stay. Lovely Teresa gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommended - we'll come again.

Lovely flat & good value for money
We stayed here during the 2012 Fringe. The flat was well decorated, lovely and clean and well equiped. It's location is only a 30 minute walk from the main centre and there is a large Tesco's also in walking distance. We hope to return to the Fringe again and would certainly checkout the availability of this flat.

Great value for money
Myself and two friends stayed here during the Fringe last August. The apartment is an easy 15 minute walk from the city centre. The apartment was spotless and had every necessary amenity. The owners had also left tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, which was a really kind touch. We would all stay here again.

Room with a view.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean, spacious, modern and comfortable flat, during the festival.Derek, the owner, very kindly picked us up from the bus station,a service I believe he provides. We then found it quite easy to walk into the city centre, although there is a convenient bus stop just across the road, Shops, pubs and resturants were all close by.All in all, a good place to stay.We miss the view!

Good central flat
We had an excellent stay. The apartment was great and had everything we needed. After travelling for 9 hrs on the coach and having arrived early at 7.30am the owner kindly let us check in early at 8.30am instead of 3pm. During our stay we were very pleased with how close by we were to the castle, shops and restaurants only 5 to 10 mins. Princess street was 5 mins away and had almost every high st shop.
