This top floor flat in Marchmont offers comfortable, stylish accommodation suitable for couples, families or friends visiting Edinburgh for business or on holiday.

The flat has 2 large bedrooms each with drawers and hanging space, a living room with bay window, a fully fitted kitchen with dining area and all new appliances, a boxroom study with bookshelves and desk, bath/shower room and large hall. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and so provides a very comfortable and peaceful haven in central Edinburgh. Floors are stripped and sealed timber with rugs. The flat has full central heating which also gives unlimited hot water. The fully fitted kitchen contains a gas hob, electric oven, washing machine/dryer, digital radio/CD in addition to a well equipped selection of kitchenware and utensils. Wifi, cable TV, towels, bed linen, heating are all included. The flat also contains a broad selection of books and CD's.

A double sofa bed in the sitting room can extend the accommodation to sleep 5 or 6.

Please note that the flat is on the 3rd floor and there are no lifts in the building.

Regarding parking in Marchmont, the flat lies in the city wide controlled parking zone and restrictions apply from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outwith these times parking is free and uncontrolled; it is usually very easy to find a space within a block of the flat. During weekdays many people park a few blocks south (from Oswald Road) towards Blackford Hill park where the controlled zone ends and free parking is available 24 hours. This is only about 10 minutes walk. There are also many "pay and display" parking bays near the flat if you need to park locally.

The flat is close to the Meadows and convenient for the University, theatres, National Museum of Scotland and the Royal Mile. Its 15 minutes walk to the city centre and about 10 minutes by bus.

The Brunstfield pitch and putt course is very near and free to play - you'll find golf clubs and balls in the hall when you arrive. This flat also has a great history - it was the childhood home of TV comedian Ronnie Corbett!
