Edinburgh International Festival
The Edinburgh International Festival runs along with the Fringe Festival and turns Edinburgh into a art capital of Europe for month of August. The city is filled with performers from all over the world. The Royal Mile is pedestrianised, and allows for the street performers to perform throughout the day. The International Festival attracts world class Theatre, Music, Opera and Art from around the world. The fringe festival runs alongside the International one, and allows for very 'interesting' acts. The comedy acts are a big favourite, and many ofthem are performmed at the Guilded Ballon or at the Pleasance. For the 2007 season, Ricky Gervais performmed at the Edinburgh Castle. Read the reviews, pick your shows and have a great time.
