It’s because although Edinburgh is a small city it has a vibrant and merry nightlife! Moreover, you can walk to almost anywhere in town. If you need to take a cab, the service is reliable (they know exactly when and where they are needed most).

In Old Town, the famous Grassmarket area with its pubs one next to the other is a good place to start. More pubs and clubs can be found near the Royal Mile. New Town is home to the most prestigious nightclubs in town. In the upmarket George Street, you will find more sophisticated bars and clubs. Electric Circus
